Volunteer Manager - Kent School Games 2010

Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the largest multi sport youth event in Europe!

The 2010 Kent School Games are already well under way and more than 30,000 youngsters will be taking part in events across the county. Children, aged five to 16, will have the opportunity to compete in 38 different sports, including disability sports, with local heats running from October culminating in a series of finals events in July 2010.

The Event Managers are seeking a lead for the management of the volunteer programme for the above event, which runs over 10 days at venues around Kent.

The Volunteer Manager will work closely with the Event Manager to help recruit, train, deploy and manage the volunteers and then evaluate the programme. The work load will be determined by your availability.
